One of the bloggers that I follow posted several miscellaneous factoids the other day, one of which was that a tiny owl and spider could be found in the detail on a one dollar bill. I wanted to see for myself, but I didn’t have a magnifying glass. So…. I took a macro shot instead.
I wasn’t able to see the spider, but I was able to find the owl. Can you see it? If not, this should help:

I had no idea! I’ll have to try and find the spider (I’ve been trying to think of some things to photograph so I wn’t miss a day on my blog while on vacation. This is perfect! 🙂 )
Well, I saw what you saw, and couldn’t find a spider either, so I did some online searching and found out that some people say it’s an owl, and some say it’s a spider. Seems to be just the one object, not two, and it wasn’t put there intentionally, just an artifact of the printing process.
Still a funn little coincidence 🙂
