Pattern

I have had requests for the pattern. First off, it’s not a great one, and my cover is pretty baggy, but the dot fastener and bungee cord at the bottom helps keep it secure.

That being said, here are a few pics. I don’t have the pattern in any other format.

Notes:

This pattern is for the 15″ diameter magma round grill. It turned out pretty baggy, so you’ll want to tighten things up a bit. I don’t have a PDF, so hopefully pics will work. There is one round top piece, 4 identical top quarter sections, and the lower skirt. I free-handed the piece for the handle on top. I left the vertical seam of the skirt open so it could go around the strut that attaches the grill to the boat. 5/16″ bungee drawcord around the bottom hem, and a DOT twist lock fastener on the corners of the open vertical section to hold it closed. I can’t find a pattern piece for the lower skirt section, but it’s basically a rectangle with a width of the overall circumference of the 4 top quarter sections when sewn together, which was about 63″ + a couple inches for a hem along its vertical seam, so I had to make it out of 2 pieces sewn together to get that width. I can’t remember the height of the lower skirt section, but if you start with 10-12 inches, you can do a fitting and cut off what you don’t need before you hem the whole thing. Note the “UPDATE” that I wrote on the quarter section pattern piece… i added length to it to ensure It went around the handle which isn’t reflected on the pattern itself. Yes, confusing. sorry. Good luck!
